Terms of service
Last updated September 2026
1. Acceptance of terms
By creating an account or using GigMatcher, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the service.
2. What GigMatcher is
GigMatcher is a listing and matching platform that connects entertainers and venues based on availability, entertainer category, budget, and location. We facilitate introductions and messaging between the two parties. We are not a party to, and take no responsibility for, any booking, contract, or payment arrangement made between an entertainer and a venue.
3. Accounts
You're responsible for the accuracy of the information on your profile and for keeping your login details secure. You must be old enough to enter a binding agreement in your jurisdiction to create an account.
4. Subscriptions and payment
Creating a profile is free. Searching, matching, and messaging require an active paid subscription, billed via PayPal at the interval shown at checkout. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled. Fees are shown before you subscribe; refund requests are considered case by case via our contact form.
5. Acceptable use
Don't use GigMatcher to post false information, harass other users, attempt to bypass the subscription system, or interfere with the normal operation of the site. We may suspend or remove accounts that violate this.
6. Content you submit
You keep ownership of the profile text, photos, and messages you submit, but grant GigMatcher permission to display them within the service so matching and messaging can work.
7. Liability
GigMatcher is provided "as is." We don't guarantee that any match, booking, or payment between users will go as planned, and we're not liable for disputes, cancellations, or losses arising from arrangements made between entertainers and venues.
8. Changes
We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the site after a change means you accept the updated terms.
9. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
