How to use GigMatcher
A quick walkthrough for both entertainers and venues.
1. Create your profile
Entertainers: add your entertainer name, entertainer category, fee range, travel radius, and a short bio. Upload a photo so venues recognise you.
Venues: add your venue name, venue type, capacity, budget range, and the entertainer category you're after.
Creating a profile is free. You'll need an active subscription to search, match, and message.
2. Mark your open dates
Head to Availability and add the dates you're free (entertainers) or the dates you need filling (venues). This is what powers matching — a date on your calendar is a date GigMatcher can surface to the other side.
3. Browse and search
Use Find Venues or Find Entertainers to filter by town, entertainer category, budget, or a specific date. Anyone with a matching open date on that day gets flagged with a "Free your date" tag.
4. Send a match request
Found someone that fits? Propose a date and send a request. It'll appear in their dashboard as pending, and in your own "sent requests" list so you can track it.
5. Message and confirm
Once a request is sent, either side can open the conversation to iron out details — set times, fees, technical requirements — then Accept to confirm the booking, or Decline if it's not a fit. Confirmed bookings can still be cancelled by either party if plans change.
